Pearl Tears is an experimental autobiographical short by Noriko Ohsada, produced by Katie Wackett. The film uses archival material to share Ohsada’s experience as a young Japanese immigrant to Canada who learns that her daughter will be born with Down Syndrome. The film was shot on Super 8 Film at the National accessArts Centre.
