Meet Andrew Harding
Andrew Harding explores various approaches to art-making, including ceramics, fibre arts, drawing, painting, and mixed media. As an artist with a visual impairment, Andrew often focuses on the tactile qualities of different materials. Using a variety of textures, lines, and colours, Andrew draws upon his senses to create a visual language, often themed around nature and the outdoors.
Since 2011, Andrew has been an avid contributor to an international conversation about art and disability. He has showcased his artworks in all corners of the world including Canada, Italy, Mexico, the United States of America, and Korea. In 2019 co-developed his Art in the Dark workshop series, allowing him to share his creative process with his audiences.
