The National accessArts Centre’s Accessible Arts Learning Campus Development
As it celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025, the National accessArts Centre presented by TD Ready Commitment (NaAC) is pleased to share its latest updates as it moves forward in completing the largest capital project in support of the disability arts in Canadian history – right in the heart of the City of Calgary. Two facilities totaling $20 million in design and development costs – the Multidisciplinary Disability Community Arts Hub (MDCAH) and the Fine Arts Building (FAB) – will sit side-by-side to create North America’s first accessible, disability-focused arts learning campus along Memorial Drive.

The MDCAH project, designed by DIALOG, is a $14 million project that will feature a performing arts learning studio, a professional gallery and multipurpose event space, as well as the second Calgary location for award-winning social enterprise Lil E Coffee Cafe. Once complete, the MDCAH site will house the NaAC’s dance, music, and digital media/film programs.
