Jazz
Jazz dance is a social dance style. When African American dancers began blending traditional African steps with European styles of movement and music, jazz was born! Jazz dance is expressive and moves with rhythm, isolated and full body moves, and storytelling through dance. Broadway, Swing, African, and Latin styles will be introduced using music from iconic jazz artists.
