Calgary Foundation invests $1.5 million in the Chung Centre Development

The National accessArts Centre presented by TD (NaAC) is proud to announce that the Calgary Foundation, through its Major Grants program, has invested $1.5 million toward the development of the Joseph Chung Centre for Creativity—one of two facilities that will form NaAC’s accessible arts learning campus.

This major investment is the latest in a series of grants NaAC has received from the Calgary Foundation, including a 2017 grant that supported the feasibility study and visioning process for our facility needs—work that helped lay the foundation for where this project stands today. Over the past decade, the Foundation has also supported the development of new multidisciplinary programs, public presentations, and partnerships that have helped fuel our growth and deepen our impact.

While our mandate is national and our reach is global, Calgary will always be our home. We are deeply grateful to the Calgary Foundation for its continued belief in our work and for helping us advance a bold vision: to make Calgary Canada’s accessible arts capital.

Thank you, Calgary Foundation!
