Government of Canada continues support of NaAC’s Professional Track Programs

The National accessArts Centre presented by TD Ready Commitment (NaAC) is pleased to share that the Government of Canada – through the Canada Arts Training Fund (CATF) administered by the Ministry of Canadian Culture and Identity – will continue its support of the NaAC’s multidisciplinary Professional Track programs for the next three years. The total investment being made in support of Canada’s first multidisciplinary disability arts organization is $600,000.

Programs covered by this investment from CATF include: visual arts, digital media and film, dance, theatre, Indigenous programs, and music.

In 2023, the NaAC became the first multidisciplinary disability arts company – and only the fifth organization in Alberta – to secure funding through CATF. It proudly stands among an exclusive group of CATF-funded organizations including the Banff Centre, the Royal Conservatory of Music, and the National Ballet School.

Our entire artist community is grateful for this ongoing investment from the Government of Canada.
