Poetics of Care
[Camera Lucida] is a new performance produced in collaboration between Project YYIN and the National accessArts Centre (NaAC). With four dancers with developmental disabilities, it re-imagines the theatre apparatus from a neurodiversity perspective and confronts the ‘strange and beautiful’ of our togetherness in the here and now.
ICONIC+
ICONIC+ is a disability-led, dance-based performance developed by the National accessArts Centre (NaAC) Dance Ensemble. This evolving work weaves together solos, duos, and group performances, celebrating diverse movement styles, personal expression, and collaboration. Rooted in improvisation, ICONIC+ challenges traditional notions of choreography, existing as a living, ever-adapting performance that reflects the individuality and creative autonomy of its artists.
ICONIC+ will make its official premiere on September 27 & 28, 2025, in Calgary, with plans for international touring.
