See the exhibition Legend of the Trans by Artist Vivek Shraya.

This exhibition features a set of photos inspired by the 1994 film, Legends of the Fall. The images explore how we can question or challenge things like gender, sexuality, masculinity, and femininity. It also explores the importance of role models who don’t conform to norms.

The Esker Foundation is a privately funded contemporary art gallery in Calgary.

Vivek Shraya is an artist who uses music, literature, visual arts, theatre and film. Her work has been shown worldwide and featured in magazines like Vanity Fair. She is a teacher and works to support new role models.

This Field Trip is part of the Q.A.A.C program at the National accessArts Centre, and all artists are warmly welcomed to attend. Snacks and discussion to follow the tour. Please meet at the Esker Project Space and doors along 9th Ave.
