ABOUT THIS EVENT:
This roundtable brings together artists, arts administrators, and curators to consider slow artmaking processes within a global capitalist structure that values quantity, efficiency, and output. Grounded in the theory and practice of slowness, this presentation will provide space for a group discussion on production, productivity, challenges, and what helps participants in their practices.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:
Casper Sutton-Fosman (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and production designer. Their work centres around themes of belonging, haunting, monstrosity and their experience of the world through a trans, disabled, and Jewish lens. They hold an MFA in the Interdisciplinary Arts, Media, and Design from OCADU and are embarking on a PhD at Concordia University exploring trans/disabled identity, the politics of images, and curatorial practice as community care.
