Calling all aspiring songwriters! After the tremendous success of our rhythm, melody, and harmony workshops,
NaAC Songwriters is thrilled to introduce our newest offering: Lyric Lab! Dive into the heart of songwriting as we explore the art of crafting meaningful lyrics that resonate with personal experiences and emotions.

In Lyric Lab, we’ll delve into the magic of songwriting, dissecting iconic classics and contemporary hits to uncover the secrets behind compelling lyrics. From understanding song structure to rhyming patterns and exploring lyric content, this class is designed to ignite your creativity and hone your songwriting skills.

As a community of artists, we’ll come together to write and refine our own original lyrics, culminating in the opportunity for each participant to bring the song to life through singing and recording (optional, of course). Lyric Lab is your chance to unleash your creativity, share your stories and connect with fellow music enthusiasts.

Join us for a journey of self-expression, exploration, and celebration of the songwriter within. Let’s make music together and bring your lyrics to life in Lyric Lab!

You will enjoy this class if you like writing, coming up with stories, singing, and listening to music.

No prior experience required! NaAC Songwriters?is for people 16 and older and is open to mixed-ability participants and community members.?

Key Takeaways: The skills that you will be acquiring from this class are transferring ideas into lyric form, song structure, rhyming and sentence length, and identifying vocal melodies. Although you will have the opportunity to sing, this is not a singing class.
